Patrick Kelly

Pat relocated from Las Vegas Nevada to Southwest Florida in 2001 and is an original member of Chicago Heat. He is an exciting performer and Chicago Heat  is proud to have him in our family of upscale entertainers with  unparalleled  performances across Southwest Florida. 

Pat's music is varied but best loved and most requested are his James Brown & Joe Cocker renditions. Our fans love him!

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ronda toured for 8 years, spanning the 80's and 90's,  with the Heartland Christian Singers. Director of their Youth Choir and Dance Troupe during her time with the group; she currently resides in South West Florida, providing entertainment for weddings and other events in the area.

Ronda has brought new and welcome Rockin' upbeat performances in her years with Chicago Heat  on stage! She is a well known and loved performed who is frequently requested by both venues and fans!

Ronda's favorites in music in her own words, "I love music! But my favorite to perform? Retro Jazz!"

Jerry Gavin

This Milwaukee born, retired US Navy veteran is full of life and music and loves to make your special event   a time to remember! 

Whether traveling far or wide, you won't find a musician who enjoys performing more than Jerry Gavin!

Jerry brings a joy filled performance to the stage with every appearance.  His rich vocals and wide array of musical performances are a proud reflection of the history of Chicago Heat. Jerry's years of excellence in delivering exceptional performances with The Heat are well known to our venues and audiences.

Grammy Award Winning 7 Time Hall of Fame Inductee

​Jim Freeman was a member of the original Five Satins, a premier Rhythm and Blues group that originated in New Haven, CT.  The Five Satins rose to fame in the Doo Wop genre with their single 'In the Still of the Night' in the Spring of 1956. The song re-entered the Pop Charts in the 60's. The group, led by Fred Parris began as 'The Scarlets' in 1953; in 1954, Parris formed the Five Satins with vocalists Al Denby, Ed Martin, and Jim Freeman. 

The group was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2003;  their Induction Concert CD was released in 2004. They were inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998. Jim Freeman was inducted into the Blues, Doo Wop and United In Group Harmony Hall of Fame and is a Lifetime Member of the Iowa Music Association Hall of Fame.   Chicago Heat is proud to return the recognizably satin vocals of Jim Freeman back to the stage. Fans enjoy  his autograph signings at our performances.

Sparky Poore

Bill "Sparky" Poore has been playing drums to and singing those good old songs since his early days on the street corner in Philly, to his later days locally with The Magic Moments and the Classix. The most important thing to Sparky is to entertain the audience by paying homage to the good old days of yesteryear...and that means performing the songs that the audience remembers, and can dance and sing along to. After all - Rock 'N" Roll is here to stay!

Michael Peter

Michael Peter is a singer, songwriter and actor who joined Chicago Heat in 2020. His powerful and beautiful falsetto voice ensured he would successfully compete in America’s Got Talent, The Voice and The X Factor.  These successes were no surprise to his many followers he had met while performing with several bands. Michael’s Bee Gees renditions leave audiences stunned while his Motown Funk songs like ‘Brick House’ entices them to dance with him. His music spans a wide variety of genres. No matter the age of the audience, there is always something incredible to enjoy as he takes the microphone and delivers flawlessly.

Michael plays the guitar and keyboards and thoroughly enjoys all facets of music and performing. He is a proud addition to Chicago Heat; we invite everyone to joins us and enjoy his performances with Chicago Heat, the Very BEST in SWFL of Classic Rock | Doo Wop | Blues and music from the 50’s to today.

Jerry Bearden

Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Jerry has been singing almost his entire life. From church choirs as a young man, to work events, caroling parties, and other events, music with a mother and older sister who played the piano, and an uncle who sang in a Southern Gospel Quartet.  Jerry’s musical interests are extremely varied, from rock and roll to pop to swing and big band.  Living in the Chicagoland area for 14 years, he also developed a taste for smooth jazz and classical music.  Now residing in Southwest Florida, his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) still thrives, but Jerry brings a little of the best of the swing genre to the Chicago Heat.

Steve Neelin

Steve Neelin is the newest addition to the Chicago Heat stage; bringing an award winning smooth tenor voice and energetic and charismatic personality.

He is a native Rochester, NY resident with an affinity for Doo Wop and Rock n Roll, beginning in high school where he sang in two Greaser Bands. His love for music was the driving force to winning numerous singing competitions.

Steve comes from a musical background that provided the opportunity to personally witness his uncle and cousins success as professional musicians.

With more than 16 years experience acting in murder mysteries, some stage work and performing in the Prestigious Fringe Festival, his stage presence is a pleasure to all.
