American Stardust Inc. Chicago Heat Sings

​Nick is a native New Yorker who moved  to Florida in 1989.  Prior to serving in the military and his deployment to Vietnam, his band 'The Arcades'  performed at the Worlds Fair, Peppermint Lounge and Palisades Park with 'Cousin Brucie.'  They also appeared with 'The Ronnetts and 'Jay and the Americans.'   Nick continues to perform is vaious venues in Florida including 'Sha Boom' and 'Moments to Remember'.  He was the featured lead singer in the play 'The Brooklyn Boys' at the Cultural Center in Cape Coral.  Nick Gangale originally joined Chicago Heat in 2011, leaving to perform other venues with his own group. He recently rejoined us; we are proud to welcome him back to The Heat!

The  Premier  Rockin' Doo Wop Group

  Chicago Heat offers a variety of shows including the Doo Wop music of the 50's all the way to Classic Rock 'n Roll and Blues. We bring a crowd pleasing range of music that is selected by Chicago Heat and the event promoter or club owners. 

Jim Freeman

In the entertainment industry since 1958, Sal has performed in various Doo Wop and 50's groups including off Broadway theater productions. His music encompasses the 50's to current arrangements that include America's most beloved music. 

He joins Chicago Heat with significant experience in venues in the New York Tri-State area.  He was a familiar performer in Atlantic City, Pittsburg, Philadelphia and Las Vegas off strip night clubs.

His time studying at Julliard School of Fine Arts is evident as he powerfully and professionsally sings a host of popular songs with Chicago Heat!

Patrick Kelly

Pat relocated from Las Vegas Nevada to Southwest Florida in 2001 and is an original member of Chicago Heat. He is an exciting performer and Chicago Heat  is proud to have him in our family of upscale entertainers with  unparalleled  performances across Southwest Florida. 

Pat's music is varied but best loved and most requested are his James Brown & Joe Cocker renditions. Our fans love him!

​Jerry Gavin

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ronda toured for 8 years, spanning the 80's and 90's,  with the Heartland Christian Singers. Director of their Youth Choir and Dance Troupe during her time with the group; she currently resides in South West Florida, providing entertainment for weddings and other events in the area.

Ronda has brought new and welcome Rockin' upbeat performances in her years with Chicago Heat  on stage! She is a well known and loved performed who is frequently requested by both venues and fans!

Ronda's favorites in music in her own words, "I love music! But my favorite to perform? Retro Jazz!"

Jim Freeman was a member of the original Five Satins, a premier Rhythm and Blues group that originated in New Haven, CT.  The Five Satins rose to fame in the Doo Wop genre with their single 'In the Still of the Night' in the Spring of 1956. The song re-entered the Pop Charts in the 60's. The group, led by Fred Parris began as 'The Scarlets' in 1953; in 1954, Parris formed the Five Satins with vocalists Al Denby, Ed Martin, and Jim Freeman. The Five Satins final new release, 'Memories of Days Gone By' hit the charts in 1982.

The group was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2003; the Induction Concert CD was released in 2004. Chicago Heat is proud to bring the recognizably satin vocals of Jim Freeman back to the stage. Fans enjoy  his autograph signings at our performances.

This Milwaukee born, retired US Navy veteran is full of life and music and loves to make your special event   a time to remember!

Jerry brings a joy filled performance to the stage with every appearance.  His rich vocals and wide array of musical performances are a proud reflection of the history of Chicago Heat. Jerry's years of excellence in delivering exceptional performances with The Heat are well known to our venues and audiences.

Nick Gangale

 Winner prestigeous AKADEMIA Song Writer's Award for Best Song Country Category with   'I Wanna Feel That Feeling' and Best Song Pop Rock Category with 'If I Giive You My Heart.' Angel was recently named 'Artist of the Year 2018.'

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Angel has been a musician for over 30 years playing with such greats as 'Danny and the JR's' 'Joey D' and 'The Starlighters' of Peppermint Twist fame in addition to  'Jimmy and the Spiders' and Peter Noone of 'Herman's Hermits'. He played with his band 'The Rockerfellas.' 

His music has been highly influenced by 'The Beatles,' 'The Drifters,'  'The Coasters' and many other well nown classic rock artists. Angel has appeared on TV shows and has been playing with 'Danny and the Juniors since 1992.
